The Saut Hermès: a legendary competition
After a successful edition in 2010, Hermès plans another round of the chicest equestrian event of the year at the Grand Palais: the Saut Hermès. Known among the biggest riders, this show-jumping competition gathers top level athletes. This year, the world’s 35 best riders will take part in 5 events of the competition whereas the 14 best riders under 25 will compete during 3 new events: the Talents Hermès. Jumping enthusiasts will be able to admire the feats of Kevin Staut (world number one) and Penelope Leprevost (female world number two) who already won the duet event last year and came to defend their title. That much is true, Hermès confirms its will to revive the tradition of equestrian competitions in the heart of Paris and see it grow, here at the Grand Palais, where events were housed from 1901 to 1957.
The Saut Hermès takes place under the nave of the Grand Palais on Friday 15, Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 April 2011 from 10 am to 7 pm. Events are reserved for members of the FFE only on Friday April 15.
