Exposition Yves Saint Laurent
“The most beautiful clothes that can dress a woman are the arms of the man she loves. But for those not lucky enough to find this happiness, I’m here”. The great man of French fashion who died in June 2008 was celebrated at the Petit Palais until late August. This retrospective of Yves Saint Laurent presents his entire work: 307 models created since the entry of the designer at Dior in 1958, but also photographs, films and sketches. Anyone who revolutionized women’s fashion with the female tuxedo was the inspiration for the modern woman and avant-garde, the very one we meet now in the streets of the capital. A moving tribute to discover until August 29th only.
Exhibition “Yves Saint Laurent”, until August 29th, 2010.
Open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm. Thursday evenings. Closed on Mondays and holidays.
