Dreamlands

Until August 9th, Dreamlands made his dream a reality by focusing on an unusual subject: show how models for international exhibitions, world fairs and amusement parks influence the design of cities for several centuries. In a multidisciplinary universe consists of 300 works of architecture, modern art and contemporary films and documents, Dreamlands offers a journey into the heart of the city’s imagination. An imagination that inspires urban projects also very practical, as evidenced by the “Pavilion of Venus” designed by Salvador Dali for the New York World’s Fair of 1939, or “Learning From Las Vegas architects Robert Venturi and Denise Scott Brown. At the Pompidou Centre library, you can extend your experience on the topic of Dreamlands and urban culture with graffiti and colorful hybrids Da Cruz.

Open every day except Tuesday from 11am to 21h until 23h and Thursday.

Library open daily (except Tuesday) from 12am to 22h and on weekends from 11am to 22h.

Price: 10 € to 12 € the normal rate, 8 € 9 € low rate.
